Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to operate our service:

• Email address— provided voluntarily when you subscribe to our newsletter via our email marketing provider, Brevo.
• Anonymous click data — when you click an affiliate link on our site, we record anonymous, aggregate click data (the link clicked and the associated recommendation). We do not collect personally identifiable information through click tracking.

We do not collect names, payment information, IP addresses for tracking purposes, or any other personal data beyond what is described above.

How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

• Newsletter delivery — to send you our weekly curated recommendations and occasional updates about FYC.
• Improving recommendations — aggregate click data helps us understand which categories and types of content resonate with our audience.

Cookies

FYC uses a single cookie, fyc_session, which is used exclusively for administrator authentication. This cookie is httpOnly, has a 7-day expiry, and is not set for regular site visitors. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services in the operation of FYC:

• Brevo— email marketing platform used to manage newsletter subscriptions and deliver emails. Brevo processes your email address in accordance with their own privacy policy.
• Vercel— hosting and analytics provider. Vercel may collect standard server logs and performance metrics.
• Affiliate partners — when you click an affiliate link to services such as Amazon, Apple TV+, or other platforms, those third parties may collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

Your Rights (CCPA / GDPR)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to deletion — you may request that we delete your personal data from our systems.
• Right to opt-out — you may unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link provided in every email, or by contacting us directly.

Data Retention

• Email addresses — retained until you unsubscribe from our newsletter. Upon unsubscription, your email is removed from our active mailing list.
• Anonymous click data — retained for a maximum of 12 months, after which it is permanently deleted.

Children’s Privacy

FYC is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
